It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of former Yavapai County Supervisor and three-time Prescott Mayor, Rowle Simmons. Mr. Simmons served on the Board of Supervisors from 2013 to 2020, making significant contributions to our community.
A dedicated public servant, Mr. Simmons was also actively involved in numerous local organizations, including Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Prescott Rotary, Central Yavapai Hospital District, and the Prescott Chamber of Commerce.
Yavapai County Board of Supervisors Chairman James Gregory stated, “Rowle will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Our thoughts and condolences are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.”

I had the pleasure of serving as Prescott City Attorney during Rowle’s three terms of office. Not only was he a great mayor to work for, but became a close personal friend. Rowle’s devotion to the City, his community and his family was unsurpassed. He will be missed. God speed, my friend.
