Once upon a time, a writer wrote his first book called; The Unknown Poet. That same author, Andrew St. Wilson, may not remain anonymous anymore considering that his writings have caught the attention of a few government officials: to be specific, a few US Generals of the US Army Corps, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the Medal of Honor Museum (which enshrines the celebrated history of America’s highest military award). St. Wilson’s poem honoring the Medal of Honor recipients will be on hand at the Medal of Honor event for the National MOH Day, Monday March 25th.
No stranger to impossibilities, the colorful life of Andrew St. Wilson, includes authoring nine books and his latest book, American Poet – American Patriot seems to be gathering interest at the some government levels. A former General and local Supervisor, Harry Oberg, also allowed his endorsement on the back cover of St. Wilson’s poetry book.
A distant thought of what if?… in the mind of St. Wilson, as he penned several of his poems and thinking outside the box, as he pondered: ..what if he could write something so engaging that a museum would share his reflections of American Patriotism. That may very well be the situation, considering that the current director of the Medal of Honor Society and its museum for the Medal of Honor has requested to have a large printed copy – museum grade, whereby autographs of Medal of Honor recipients are being gathered onto the full color poem-lithograph entitled: SOME GAVE ALL. One copy will be for the Medal of Honor Society and the other will be given to the National Museum under construction in Arlington, Texas. Three of St. Wilson’s poems are also at the National Headquarters for the VFW; Unknown Soldier, Some Gave All and Vietnam Vet, which was written on the life story of a Bronze Star recipient, a Prescott Valley, Arizona veteran; Michael Schuster, Crew Chief for the Army Medi-Vac team in Vietnam.
Originally written for Christian College Curriculum, St. Wilson’s work may be on the fast track for a spot in a few of America’s National Museums and more. Ryan Garrick, a retired contract-actor with Warner Brothers and Universal Studios in Hollywood is a lifelong friend of St. Wilson, familiar with St. Wilson’s writing over the years. “Andrew just says it the way it should be; he has embraced patriotism with a pen. Maybe that’s why several museums are paying attention, nothing like truth.”
Andrew St. Wilson
Several high-ranking Public Affairs Officers of the US Army, specifically, The Old Guard, (sentinel of the Unknown Soldier’s Tomb in Washington DC) have reached out to St. Wilson regarding displaying his work and not only limited to the Washington DC area, but other military installations such as West Point Military Academy and more perhaps. St. Wilson’s poems can be seen locally. SECRETARIAT is on display at Arizona Downs in Prescott Valley, SOME GAVE ALL is on display at the Veterans Hospital in Prescott and at Prescott Valley Guns here in Prescott Valley. The events on this Medal of Honor Day in Arlington Cemetery 2024 will be a warm reminder of American Patriotism and a fine tribute to America’s heroes including an American Poet – American Patriot, Andrew St. Wilson.

I heard that the Cowboy Poets shut St. Wilson out of their annual poem event and wouldn’t even pass out books he donated to them. Boy are they gonna be eating crow! I wish Andrew the best of luck, so awesome. Keep it up Patriots are behind you!!
Andrew is amazing in so many ways. His insight is important and can remind us of what real patriots have given.
