The Prescott community is invited to enjoy a day of science and discovery at the 10th Annual Prescott Regional SciTech Fest on Saturday, March 2 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, located at 3700 Willow Creek Road.
This free, fun-filled educational event features interactive science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) demonstrations as part of the statewide Arizona SciTech initiative. Visitors can engage in hands-on activities, observe scientific experiments and collect free giveaways from campus organizations and community exhibitors.
New on this year’s lineup of community exhibitors includes the Arizona Science Center, Northern Arizona University – Yavapai, La Tierra Community School, Prescott Astronomy Club, Mountain Institute’s Culinary Arts, Veterinary Assistant Programs and more.
This year’s SciTech Fest is made possible thanks to sponsorship from the City of Prescott.

In partnership with Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University student clubs such as the Society of Women Engineers, oSTEM, National Society of Black Engineers, Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) and Vex Robotics, the Prescott Regional SciTech Fest celebrates and embraces education, research, collaboration, innovation and economic growth in the Prescott region.
Jim and Linda Lee Planetarium Shows for All Ages
The event will also feature full-dome planetarium presentations of “Our Friends the Planets” at the Jim and Linda Lee Planetarium on campus, specially created for attendees aged 7 and under, at 11 a.m. Additional planetarium shows will take place at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. with all show lasting approx. 45 minutes. Tickets are available at the Activity Center entrance.
K-12 Education & Activities at Noche De Ciencias
Immerse yourself and your family in the wonders of STEM during Noche De Ciencias, the SHPE’s “family science night.” This annual event, designed for K-12 students and families, brings science, technology, engineering and mathematics to life, allowing audiences of all ages to envision a future career in these fields. Interactive activities are tailored for both parents and children and include coding lessons, TinkerCard sessions and LEGO Robotics workshops.
Noche de Ciencias events will be held throughout the day in the lower level of the STEM Education Center, offering a unique opportunity for family learning and fun.
Eagles’ Softball Double-Header
Sports fans are welcome to attend the Embry-Riddle Softball double-header against Park University. Game times are at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. Entrance is free.
