Attorney General Kris Mayes recently took legal action to protect the well-being of Chino Valley residents as a proposed mine in their neighborhood poses a public nuisance.
On October 27, Attorney General Mayes met with hundreds of Chino Valley residents who emphasized their grievances with a proposed aggregate mine in their neighborhood.
In response to these concerns, the Attorney General asked for a preliminary injunction, asking the court to recognize the severe implications of the mine’s operation as a public nuisance and to halt its development.

The Greedy Fain family wants a similar project in the area of south Prescott Valley and near pricy homes in Stone Ridge. The scary part is also the willingness of Mayor Palguta and a timid council to “approve” what ever the Fain’s want. Will the good people wake up and stand together on stopping this? The over growth on our community with a serious water shortage issue will affect even more residents of Prescott Valley and those served by PV water.
