The Democrat Party, once the party of the common man, has evolved into the party of victims. At one time it was considered the political party of working men and women. It is now the party of the elite, the hedge fund moguls, the pharmaceutical executives and investment bankers. All any doubters have to do is to look at the political donations of these wealthy elites. In addition, it has become the political party of the victim class. Anyone who perceives that they are oppressed, gravitates to the Democrats.

The Democrats want all of us peons to drive electric cars that most working people can’t afford. They want, as then President Obama openly stated, to make gas prices to be as high as they are in Europe. Meanwhile, the Democrat elites continue to drive their SUVs, yachts and private jets. Their useful (oppressed) idiots, who will whine about every imagined dog whistle, microaggression or code word, never say a word about celebrity and hierarchy Democrats’ carbon footprints because they truly believe it is for the “greater good”. Anything to avoid the mythical, global Armageddon caused by climate change.

It is obvious that the Democrats have written off the American middle class. The men and women who go to work everyday, raise families and pay their taxes, have been abandoned by the now radical left Democrat party. These salt of the earth, foundational Americans, used to be called the silent majority. They never were overtly political. They seem to be rushing back into the political arena.

Our middle class has been awakened by an activist government and its bureaucracies ham handed response to all of the victim whiners and their wailing about injustice, oppression and their perceived lack of equity and inclusion. The list of victims is long and sorted. When so-called transgenders, (biological men who claim they are women or biological women who claim they are men), claimed victimhood and demanded that they have access to the restrooms of their preference, many local, state and federal governments and bureaucracies, elected to enforce this imagined right. Some retail businesses, on their own, decided to allow this perversion. This was so fatuous that the vast majority of people started to awaken to the fact that our cultural traditions were coming under attack.

When many of the public schools started pushing not only transgender philosophy, but also sexual transitioning, parents began to resist at school board meetings and other public hearings. When they found out that schools were hiding trans counseling of their children, more and more parents joined this resistance. A few years ago, a teacher or counselor would have been arrested for discussing the sexual mutilation with a child. Now this counseling is called an heroic act in progressive circles.

Critical Race Theory in our schools, by whatever name this theory is taught, is a lame attempt to separate the races into oppressors and victims. Equity, Diversity and Inclusion practices are being encouraged in our government and business communities, seemingly to combat “systemic racism”. Systemic racism is the extreme left’s way of saying they can’t point to any real evidence of direct racism but since there is racial inequity in education, the professions or prison populations, the cause must be something. Therefore they came up with the term, systemic racism.

Democrats forsaking the middle class of all races and genders, quite possibly is an indication of the demise of their party. There is a limited number of elitists and only so many people who want to think of themselves as victims. That is why the Democrats are doing everything they can to expand the victimhood population.
