Many of us have friends and family members who have political views that are opposite, or at least different from ours. After two of my friends expressed opinions, that at best, sounded ill informed, I asked if they ever watch Fox News, News Max or One American News Network. At different times, they each responded with essentially the same answer, “I don’t watch those stations, they’re nothing but propaganda.”

I didn’t think to ask until later, but I should have asked if they came to that conclusion because they watched those stations themselves or because that is what the news channels they do view, tell them that it’s propaganda. Of course, since they already said they never watched the conservative news channels, the question answers itself. It also would seem to make them dupes of the left wing media, especially if they never vetted what they heard or looked at opposing views.

The point is that if you only hear one side of a situation, you can’t get an honest assessment of it. The mainstream or corporate media usually gives just one view every time they get on the air waves. What is even worse is when they flat out lie to us. Their most egregious ethical violation is when they do not inform us of events, incidents or political occurrences that may impact us, our families, communities or country

There are many examples of the media obfuscating the truth. When Antifa and BLM were committing crimes, burning buildings and attacking police, the networks, left wing print and cable news channels all called these violent riots, “mostly peaceful demonstrations”. This was an outright lie and yet many of them reported this with the arson fires burning in the background.

The legacy media only gave us one view of every anti-Trump allegation. When there were protests and counter protests in Charlottesville, VA, in 2017, many in the mainstream media, quoted President Trump, out of context, saying that there were many good people on both sides, which dramatically implied that he thought the White supremacists were “good people”. They left out the part where he stated that racist and White supremacists were thugs. And that is just one example of the so-called press giving just one side of the story to advance their left leaning views.

For the first half of the Biden presidency, the establishment press ignored every Joe Biden verbal flub, the Afghanistan withdrawal debacle, his incoherent wanderings on stage when leaving his speeches, his gross exaggerations and his outright lies. They never mention his lack of news conferences and when he does talk to the press, they give him such softball questions that Stevie Wonder could hit them out of the park. The globalist, leftists press never even asks him follow up questions even when his answers beg for one.

For the longest time they ignored all of the incriminating evidence on Hunter Biden’s laptop computer. These media conspirators ignored it during the 2020 election season, claiming it was “Russian disinformation”, knowing that would have swayed a great many voters against the crooked Joe Biden. All of this is proof that the mainstream media is tainted to the point of being unbelievable. The “journalists” who broadcast and write for them do not represent a free press. They are fully owned and operated by internationalists and the Democrat party.

No one knows them like a real American journalist. Early in her book, Unafraid, true journalist Kari Lake sums up the contemporary state of most of our media. “…so-called journalists in the corporate media wear their bias on their sleeves. They revel in their ability to manipulate the American public…I truly believe that the modern media is the most dangerous institution in America and in the world. And it isn’t so much what they’re telling us. It’s what they’re not telling us. There is a ‘look here, not there’ agenda in the corrupt corporate news.” That pretty much sums up the current state of the press in America.
