The recipient of the Hometown Halo Award was Laura Dreibelbis, LPN with The Susan J Rheem Adult Day Center. Laura started her career in healthcare 25 years ago. Thanks to Laura’s impeccable leadership in 2022 the Susan J Rheem Adult Day Center was awarded the David Besst award from the Arizona Caregiver Coalition. This award recognizes an organization or person who untiringly works to establish resources and respite for family caregivers as part of the Arizona family caregiver day at the capital.

The Senior Referral Network is excited their next event is Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at 5:00 pm-7:30 pm at Espire Sports at the Prescott Gateway Mall.

Our events are held every other month on the 2nd Tuesday. We will host our events at different venues around Prescott, Prescott Valley and surrounding communities to highlight our hosts and make sure everyone has a chance to join us. All meetings are in person and will have light refreshments and are free to attend. All senior industry professionals are welcome, whether you are an employee, owner or volunteer.

The organization will once again be hosting the networking event for those in the Senior Service Industry along with those who need information to help their loved ones.

The organization is delighted to announce the July Hometown Halo recipient, Dr. Sam L. Downing.  This award is to honor someone in the greater Prescott region that works with seniors and goes above and beyond. Dr. Downing has been a light in this community and the senior service industry for many years.

The group will have over 25 sponsor tables at the event in July who will be sharing how their business can help in the senior service industry and the senior community.

Catering for the event will be sponsored and provided by Debbie & Richard Maranville of Goods from the Garden.
