Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority Responds to Motor Vehicle Accident on Highway 89A

On Thursday, June 15, 2023, at approximately 1:18 p.m. emergency crews from Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority (CAFMA), Priority Ambulance, Native Air, Chino Valley Police Department, Arizona Department of Public Safety, and the Arizona Department of Transportation responded to a motor vehicle accident on Highway 89A and Little Ranch Road in Paulden, Arizona.

CAFMA crews arrived on scene to find two vehicles with heavy damage. Two patients were involved, one immediate and one delayed. The immediate patient required extrication and was then flown to a Phoenix-area trauma center by Native Air 14. The delayed patient was taken to Yavapai Regional Medical Center by Priority Ambulance.
