Orinoco Chocolate Company, located in the Gateway Mall, is holding a class on craft chocolate tonight (6/15/2023). Hosted by Clay Gordon, a professional chocolate critic, and author of the book, Discover Chocolate, the class is a hands on, sensory-driven class where you will see, taste, smell, feel, and learn about craft chocolate. The class is from 6:45 pm to 8:15 pm and you can buy tickets HERE.
Orinoco is a small batch, bean to bar, artisan chocolate shop. They have chocolate bars made with different types of cacao nibs, such as Venezuelan and Tanzania, as well as bon bons and banana almond butter cups. Many of the bars are single origin. There is even a flight of the bars to take home!
An upcoming class on June 20th teaches how to pair craft chocolates with wine and cheese.
