Yavapai College is planning to conduct a critical incident test scenario on May 25, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at its Prescott Campus.
Please note that this is only a test.
Yavapai College Campus Safety will conduct the scenario, and the College’s Prescott Campus will practice a test lockdown.
Emergency communication systems, such as the college website, exterior electronic signage, email, and text messaging, will be used with specific language stating that the scenario is a test only.
Outside agencies will not be called to respond in this test scenario.
The purpose of the test is to practice procedures that would be needed to respond appropriately in the event of a real-life emergency.
Yavapai College, the Yavapai College Campus Safety Department, and the Yavapai College Emergency Operations Committee are committed to providing a safe environment for all students, employees, and visitors at all six of the College’s campuses and centers.
