During a debate with Jimmy Carter in 1980, Ronald Reagan famously asked, “Are you better off today than you were four years ago?” Which is a sensible and basic question that’s been asked in political races ever since — and next week’s midterm elections are no different.
As Americans head to the polls on Tuesday, one ought to consider if you, your family or your business is better off today under Democrat control of one’s state and one-party rule in Washington, or not. Unless you like paying significantly higher prices for essential items like food, gas, rent, heating bills and just about everything else, I suspect the answer is no.
When Joe Biden took office in January 2021, the average national gas prices were $2.33 per gallon, according to the Energy Information Association. As of today, Nov. 2, the national average is $3.765, per AAA. And no one will forget that gas prices surged to an astronomical $5.02 per gallon last June, or even worse if you were in Nantucket, Massachusetts, where Biden will be spending Thanksgiving again this year, gas prices surged over $6.08 per gallon. I experienced that firsthand, as I was there last summer, cringing every time I filled my tank.
Soaring gas prices shouldn’t have come as a surprise, as Biden campaigned in 2020 promising “we are going to get rid of fossil fuels.” Voters now need to ask how the president’s kowtowing to special interest groups, campaign donors and climate fanatics — many who live in big houses, own gas-guzzling yachts and fly private jets — affect your family’s budget.
Same with sky-high inflation, which was 1.4% when Sleepy Joe took office in January 2021. Today, inflation is a whopping 8.2% — a 40-year high — with elevated food prices hurting working families. “Grocery prices are up 13.5% compared with a year earlier, the biggest 12-month jump since March 1979,” reports The Wall Street Journal. “With no relief in sight, many consumers say they are struggling to keep up.”
And for those who want a more left-leaning perspective, CNN reported in September, “Americans browsing the supermarket aisle will notice most food items are far more expensive than they were a year ago. Egg prices soared 39.8%, while flour got 23.3% more expensive. Milk rose 17% and the price of bread jumped 16.2%.”
These are basic necessities Americans need to survive. But sadly, under one-party Democrat rule in Washington over the past nearly two years, millions of Americans are being forced to choose between filling their gas tank to get to work, paying their rent or feeding their families — not a choice anyone should have to make living in the richest country in the world.
Nor should parents have to scramble to find baby formula in America due to the Biden administration’s embarrassing failure to resolve manufacturing and supply chain snafus that continue to threaten the health and well-being of our nation’s precious infants.
When it comes to public safety, crime is soaring nationwide. Many living in major cities like New York are rightfully afraid to ride the subway, walk the street at night or even wear nice clothes to work without worrying about being assaulted. New York’s Democrat Gov. Kathy Hochul’s willful blindness that there’s a palpable crime problem in her state, as well as other soft-on-crime liberal officials nationwide who support cashless bail for violent criminals, make us less safe, diminishing our quality of life.
And with Democrats’ failed immigration policies and open borders controlled by dangerous drug cartels, fentanyl and other deadly drugs are pouring into our communities killing scores of Americans. Over 107,000 Americans died of drug overdoses in 2021, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported last spring.
At that rate, a vote for a Democrat means a vote for the status quo. That translates to thousands more Americans dying of drug overdoses each year — the number one killer of 18- to 45-year-olds in America today. If all that’s acceptable to you, vote Democrat next week. However, if you believe that America’s not on the right track and that we’re certainly not better off than we were two years ago, vote for Republican candidates across the board.
The choice is clear.

Without an alert free press; our knowledge of events is highly compromised. Over the past 40 plus years the corruption of our schools of journalism as well as our political class has continued to support a culture of Marxist -Communist mis-information. With political indoctrination introduced to those trained to present information to the public; the confidence that formally existed between people and news media is lost.
Today, it is only the alert, questioning people that sense something is not right who seek the truth. The products and services we must purchase to live have awakened the most unaware among us. Even those with the lowest intelligence realize their basic needs have been compromised and are seeking help and solutions.
The scary part of all this is biased media and forces in America seeking unconstitutional government in America are further confusing the people most damaged by the policies of the Biden-Obama administration. We can only hope those not realizing which political party is leading the destruction of America will stay home and not vote on November 8th.
I’m optimistic.
The Democrats have been stealing elections for decades. For proof, see Dino Rossi vs Christine “Oh look, after two recounts where I lost, we found some uncounted ballots in the closet and, can you believe it, I won by 129 votes” Gregoire. Riddle me this, Batman. Rossi won 2 recounts, Gregoire won 1 recount. Doesn’t that mean Rossi heads to the Governor’s Mansion? Liars! Thieves!
The Radical Left Money Thieves made their first big move in 2018 to steal the House of Representatives (Can you say Southern California?). Then they made the move-of-a-lifetime in 2020 when they stole the Senate and the Presidency (Can you say Arizona, Wisconsin and other swing states?).
It was a clever, tricky, filthy strategy and it almost worked. Had the Democrats gone on to HELP AMERICANS PROSPER instead of HURTING AMERICANS AND DESTROYING THE ECONOMY, they’d probably be in power for the next 20+ years. But instead, the Incompetent Radical Left Clowns messed up one thing after another and they’re about to suffer the electoral defeat of our lifetimes. Their electoral thievery and every dirty, filthy trick they’ve played (Russia, fake impeachments, Jan 6th circus clown show, etc) have backfired and they’ll pay a heavy political price for their disgusting power and money grabs.

Education? Instead of reading, writing and arithmetic, America’s children have CRT and other race-baiting filth, Drag Shows, pornography and other Radical Left agenda forced down their throats. The damage done is immeasurable. Vouchers!
Economy? Inflation? Stock Market? We have devastating inflation, a collapsing stock market and worsening balance of payments because of the fiscal insanity of Biden, Harris, Kelly, Sinema and the rest of the Radical Left Money Thieves. Admit it!
Foreign Policy? The world is laughing at us!
Energy Policy? Biden has said very clearly that he wants to destroy the American Energy industry including oil, gas and coal. Traitorous!
Border security? Neither Biden or Harris has even been to the border and they’ve let invaders swarm into the country illegally. The security of America is the Biden’s #1 responsibility and they have not only failed miserably, they’ve taken steps to make it worse. Impeachable!
Crime? The criminals now rule the streets of most big American cities and it’s because the entire “Defund the Police” effort by the Radical Left have emboldened criminals. They kill, rape and steal because they know some criminal-loving DA will let them loose to wreak more havoc. Democrats want havoc. Filth!
Fentanyl? Biden, Kelly, Harris and all the other Radical Left Money Thieves are responsible for the poisoning of tens of thousands of Americans. How the Radical Left can sleep at night is beyond me. Guilty!
Election integrity? The Radical Left do everything they can to make it easier for them to cheat. Let’s face it, how can anyone be against Voter ID, careful monitoring and replicate counts, where needed. Beware!
Executive integrity? Joe “Election Thief” Biden is a pathological liar. His most recent lies include his statement that petrol was $5 per gallon when he took office. Liar! What about his statement that the transfer of student debt from unemployable clowns to the back of the honest working guy “passed by 2-3 votes” Liar! There was no vote! It was an unconstitutional executive order! What about his statement that he enacted the 8.3% bump in Social Security? Liar! It’s an automatic COLA adjustment based on inflation. Total lies! Total filth!
At any rate, the Radical Left is about to get their keesters handed to them in 2 days. Get the popcorn ready, it’s gonna be one for the ages!
