In this edition of Arizona Today, Dr. Lyle interviews Patrick Henry, one of the United State’s Founding Fathers.
Patrick Henry was an American attorney, planter, politician, and orator best known for his declaration to the Second Virginia Convention (1775): “Give me liberty, or give me death!” A Founding Father, he served as the first and sixth post-colonial Governor of Virginia, from 1776 to 1779 and from 1784 to 1786.
In Part 1, Mr. Henry discusses with Dr. Lyle the early days of the Colonies and the fight for independence from England.
Dr. Lance Hurley (the re-enactor who plays Patrick Henry) has written a book, titled Christian America: Come Back to Me.
