Peaceful protests against the use of Flock cameras are being organized at the Prescott City Council Meeting on Tuesday, October 27th, and the Prescott Valley Town Council meeting on Thursday, October 29th.
The Prescott protestors will meet in the City Hall Parking lot (201 N. Montezuma) at 2pm. Bring your signs. At 3pm, the protest moves indoors to the City Council meeting.
For the Prescott Valley protest, people will gather at 4:30pm in front of the Prescott Valley Library (7401 E. Skoog Blvd) and then go inside at 5:30pm to the Town Council meeting.
We need you there! Your presence matters. A room full of concerned citizens sends a powerful message to our elected officials that cannot be ignored.
Flock’s surveillance camera network raises serious questions about personal privacy, government oversight, and the tracking of ordinary citizens. And we will not settle for any other surveillance by any other company.
We believe our communities deserve transparency, accountability, and a meaningful voice in decisions involving surveillance technology.
Let’s fill those council chambers and show our elected officials that we the people of Prescott and Prescott Valley care about our Rights, our privacy and our communities.
