Sparklight®, a leading internet and mobile service provider, has been named 2026 Large Business of the Year by the Prescott Valley Chamber of Commerce, recognizing the company’s longstanding commitment to the Greater Prescott community.

The award was presented during the Prescott Valley Chamber of Commerce’s annual Boots & Buckles Banquet & Community Excellence Awards on Friday, July 17, at the Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott Valley.

“We’re honored to be recognized by the Prescott Valley Chamber of Commerce as Large Business of the Year,” said Jay Macleod, Sparklight Senior Regional Director, Southwest. “Our associates are proud to deliver the reliable internet, mobile and business services that keep our communities connected and support the economic vitality of Greater Prescott. It’s a privilege to be recognized alongside this year’s outstanding recipients.”

The Community Excellence Awards are among the Chamber’s most celebrated annual recognitions, honoring businesses, organizations and individuals that go above and beyond to make Prescott Valley a great place to live.

“The Community Excellence Awards recognize organizations whose leadership and commitment help shape a stronger Prescott Valley,” said Steve Bracely, Prescott Valley Chamber of Commerce President and CEO. “Sparklight has earned this award through its continued investment in our community, support for local nonprofits and dedication to serving residents and businesses. We’re proud to recognize Sparklight as our 2026 Large Business of the Year.”

Over the past three years, Sparklight has invested more than $50 million to expand and enhance its fiber-rich network across Prescott Valley, Prescott, Cottonwood and surrounding communities. The investments have expanded fiber deeper into the company’s service areas, strengthening network reliability, increasing capacity and helping ensure homes, businesses and critical community services have access to the connectivity needed today and well into the future. Residential customers throughout the Greater Prescott area have access to internet speeds as fast as 6 Gig.

Sparklight’s commitment to the community extends beyond technology. Through the Sparklight Charitable Giving Fund, the company has awarded more than $30,000 in grants to local nonprofit organizations and schools, including The Community Cupboard Food Bank, Coalition for Compassion & Justice, YMCA of Yavapai County, Prescott Unified School District Education Foundation and Humboldt Education Foundation. Sparklight also supports the community through sponsorships, volunteerism and partnerships with organizations working to improve the quality of life across Greater Prescott.
