Updates to the Rodeo/Fairgrounds Master Plan Public Comment Period
The public comment period for the Rodeo/Fairgrounds Master Plan has been amended from 60 days to 45 days. The comment period will begin on August 5, 2026, and close on September 22, 2026. The comment period includes an Open House Public Meeting on August 5, 2026, and public hearings during the City Council Voting Sessions on August 25, 2026, and September 22, 2026. The draft Master Plan will be available for public review beginning August 5, 2026.
The first opportunity for community input will be the Open House Community Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at The Center, 1280 E Rosser Street. Community members will have the opportunity to review the final draft of the Master Plan, discuss details with the Project Team and Steering Committee members and submit comments as part of the public comment period.
Community members who are unable to attend the Open House Community Meeting or either of the public hearings may review the draft Master Plan and submit comments online by visiting www.prescott-az.gov/prescott-rodeo-grounds-master-plan/.
This amendment was brought forward by community stakeholders and provides the public an opportunity to review and comment on the final draft of the Master Plan. It also ensures compliance with the amened Resolution No. 2023-1862.
Public input is an important part of this process. The City of Prescott welcomes comments from all community members as it works toward finalizing the Rodeo/Fairgrounds Master Plan.
