Veterans, their families, caregivers, survivors and anyone else interested in learning more about local Veterans services are invited to join the Northern Arizona VA Health Care System for a special celebration honoring America’s 250th anniversary and the Veterans who made it possible.
This free, family-friendly event will feature a wide range of Veterans resources, complimentary food, a ceremonial flag raising, and remarks from special guest speakers. Attendees can also enjoy fun activities for all ages, including chalk art, Freedom 250 coloring books, cornhole, live music, and a magician. A military flyover courtesy of Luke Air Force Base is planned to commemorate the occasion.
Available Veterans services will include:
- Health care enrollment and eligibility assistance
- Disability claims support
- Burial benefits
- Mental health resources
- Caregiver support
- Housing assistance
- Veteran ID card services
- Food insecurity resources
- Community partner programs
