Yavapai County invites community members, Veterans, and families to gather for the annual Memorial Day Observance Ceremony on Monday, May 25, 2026. The ceremony will take place at the historic Citizens Cemetery, offering a solemn and respectful space to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to the United States.
The observance will feature a traditional memorial, guest speakers, and tributes dedicated to remembering our nation’s fallen heroes. Members of the public are highly encouraged to bring their families, friends, and neighbors to partake in this meaningful community tradition.

Logistics & Accessibility
Parking: Available at Yavapai College, Parking Lot A.
Shuttle Service: A shuttle will run continuously from Yavapai College to the cemetery.
Assistance: Golf cart transportation will be available from the cemetery’s main gate to the ceremony site.
Seating: Seating is limited; guests are encouraged to bring a portable chair if possible.
