The Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority (CAFMA) and Prescott Fire Department were dispatched to a residential structure fire on 4th Street in Prescott Valley at approximately 3:18 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

Upon arrival, crews found a two-story home with flames showing from the roof and quickly brought the fire under control. The residence was occupied at the time of the fire; however, the occupant safely evacuated prior to crews’ arrival. One patient was transported by Copperstate Ambulance for further treatment.

The fire remains under investigation, and no injuries to first responders have been reported. The Arizona Crisis Team (ACT) has been contacted to assist.
