The Bradshaw Ranger District of the Prescott National Forest has issued a closure order for National Forest System Road 9271A and the Doce Pit area. Entering the area, being present within it, or engaging in recreational shooting is prohibited. The closure is in place to protect public health and safety during livestock gathering operations and to reduce risks associated with recreational shooting.
The closure order will be in effect from 6 a.m. April 20, 2026, through 9 p.m. May 19, 2026. Violating the order is a Class B misdemeanor and may result in fines, imprisonment, or both.
