The Prescott Lady Badgers closed out their regular season with a 61-30 win over the Mingus Lady Marauders.
Bella Abt led Prescott with 20 points and Addie Prisciandaro had 19 to account for 64% of the teams scoring. The outcome came very quickly as Prescott completely dominated the first half, pitching a 23-0 shutout in the first quarter, and allowing just four as the Lady Badgers led 39-4 at the half.
After some second half time, Abt and Prisciandaro took the rest of the night off. Meanwhile, sophomore Kenna Cook was the bright spot for Mingus as she knocked down six three point baskets, five in the second half and accounted for 18 points. The Lady Marauders continue to miss their star Savannah Tobias after a great (6-1) start came to an end with an injury in December. Tobias was averaging 27 points a game.

After the game, Prescott celebrated their regular season achievement by cutting down the net, each player getting a piece and coach Jami Johnson the rest of the net. The Lady Badgers have set a lot of team records along with two players setting school records with Addie Prisicandaro in points and Bella Abt in rebounds. They know they are far from done and have more goals to conquer as they move into the playoffs.
Prescott is #12 in the Open Division rankings and will host a first round Open Division game on February 17 at 7pm. A win would send them onto the second round and a likely road game on February 19. The final rankings will determine who that opponent is. Flagstaff is currently at #23 in the Open Division rankings, which would make them play on the road.
The Lady Badgers are at #2 in Division 4A and a loss in either the first two open division games would send Prescott back into the 4A playoffs which begins on February 26.
