VARSITY BOYS BASKETBALL
The Trinity Christian Warriors put to use a big second quarter on their way in beating the Tri-City Christian Academy Warriors 61-37 in Prescott.
The game started off with a player from each team carrying the load. Tri-City Christian Academy’s Cameron Williams scored seven of his teams first nine points and Connor Wallace provided Trinity Christian with nine of their first 15 points.
The home team took control near the end of the first quarter that began a big 14-0 run going well into the second.

Trinity Christian picked up more scoring from Zeek Chun and Dylan Furrer, plus picking up a three pointer by Ethan Downing that pushed the lead to 29-10. Tri-City Christian Academy was unable to get anything going that resulted in, being outscored 19-3 as Trinity Christian led 34-12 at the half.

The two teams played it pretty even in the second half, as the Tri-City Christian Academy team from Chandler was unable to put any kind of dent in the Trinity Christian lead. Nine players contributed points for the home team.
Connor Wallace, who led Trinity Christian with 15 points, said, “I thought we played good in the first half. The second half not so good, overall though we did what we needed to do to get the win.”
Two other players were instrumental in picking up the win. Dylan Furrer scored 14, and Zeek Chun added 13, joining Wallace in double figures.
Trinity Christian Coach Jake Wright said, “I thought we played pretty good in the first half, but had a little bit of a letdown in the second. That is something we need to work on.”
Trisdan Moreland led Tri-City Christian Academy (5-9) with 18 points. Trinity Christian improved to (8-3) on the season and will host Adobe Mountain from Phoenix on Tuesday at 7pm.

The Prescott Badgers returned home for the first of five straight home games with a 91-37 pounding of the Lee Williams Volunteers.

Sophomore Bobby Molnar came off the bench and scored a season high 19, five coming from three point land. Drew Jolley dominated the inside and also had 19. Jack Golleher added 15, and Jaxon Kleinman scored 10.
The Badgers (4-1) in the Grand Canyon Region, (8-10) overall, will host Mingus, which is in the midst of a nine game win streak, in the Badger Dome on Tuesday at 7pm.

Coming off the huge win over Flagstaff on Wednesday, the Prescott Lady Badgers traveled to Kingman and took care of the Lee Williams Lady Volunteers 65-37
Bella Abt had another big game with 23 points. Addie Prisciandaro added 15 for the Lady Badgers as they improve to (5-0) in the Grand Canyon Region and (17-3) overall.
Prescott moved up to #2 in the 4A Division rankings behind #1 Salpointe Catholic. The Lady Badgers will travel on Tuesday to Cottonwood to face #10 Mingus. Tip time is 7pm.

The Trinity Christian Lady Warriors beat West Phoenix Lady Eagles 44-5 in Prescott Friday night to remain unbeaten at (11-0).
Trinity Christian led 11-2 after one quarter and 23-5 at the half. The Lady Warriors then shut West Phoenix out the entire second half, outscoring their opponents 21-0.
Next up will be a home game versus undefeated Western SciTech. Game time set for 5:30pm.
