The spirit of innovation was on full display at the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University campus on November 24th, 2025, as the Entrepreneurship Club hosted its premier business pitch competition, Eagle Tank. Modeled after the hit show Shark Tank, the event challenged student entrepreneurs to step into the “hot seat” and pitch their ventures to a panel of industry experts.
After a series of intense presentations and rigorous Q&A sessions, the top honors were awarded to EX3D Prints, a startup aiming to revolutionize the way we think about production and logistics.
The venture is building a premier marketplace designed to connect 3D printing enthusiasts and makers worldwide. By creating a decentralized manufacturing network, EX3D Prints allows consumers to connect directly with local makers to order or upload custom 3D prints, ensuring they receive their products both quickly and affordably.
The judges were particularly impressed by the platform’s potential to democratize manufacturing, allowing anyone from hobbyists to professional engineers to monetize their equipment while providing consumers with a faster, more sustainable alternative to traditional shipping.
“Eagle Tank is about more than just a competition; it’s a launchpad for the next generation of industry leaders,” said a representative of the ERAU Entrepreneurship Club. “Seeing EX3D Prints take professional feedback and use it to sharpen their vision is exactly why this event is so vital to our campus community.”
The success of Eagle Tank 2025 highlights the thriving entrepreneurial culture at Embry-Riddle. As EX3D Prints prepares to scale its decentralized network, the club continues to support student ventures that push the boundaries of technology and business
