MATFORCE and Yavapai County Education Service Agency to Host Youth Mental Health First Aid Training in Prescott This January

MATFORCE, a primary prevention organization with a focus on stopping youth drug use before it starts, in collaboration with The Yavapai County Education Service Agency, will be conducting a Youth Mental Health First Aid course in Prescott.

Youth Mental Health First Aid Training in Prescott

Learn how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges among children and adolescents ages 12-18 in this 7-hour Youth Mental Health First Aid training. Open to the community and anyone interested in learning how to help children and adolescents through a mental health crisis.

This free, in-person class is scheduled for Friday, January 30, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and will be held, in collaboration with Yavapai County Education Service Agency, at 2970 Centerpointe E Dr, Prescott, AZ 86301.

Please note that 2 hours of online pre-work is required to be completed by January 25th to participate in the in-person course.  Advance registration is mandatory for all attendees, and it closes on January 13th.
