On December 29th, Deputies responded to a single-vehicle rollover in Seligman off Williamson Valley Road. The driver was sitting on the wheel well of the rolled-over truck when first responders arrived. The driver displayed several signs of impairment, and there were several opened cans of beer at the scene.
He was arrested and booked for DUI and Extreme DUI.
In this instance, the driver was fortunate that he had very little injuries and was able to walk away. That is not the case in so many drunk driving crashes. As we celebrate the New Year, please drive sober.

I would love to have a column every day that listed all of the traffic citations, auto accidents, etc. I think this would keep this problem upfront for everyone to stay aware of.
David, thanks for the great information in your article. I agree with Don, we need a daily if not weekly column dedicated to the accidents and crime in our town. I would like to see a law passed where if you are arrested for a driving violation or drugs then your car/truck should be taken away from you and sold at an auction with all proceeds going to our law enforcement to support their continuing efforts.
