Addie Prisciandaro scored a game high 34 points in just three quarters to lead the Prescott Lady Badgers to a 93-13 win over the Barry Goldwater Lady Bulldogs in the season opener for both schools in the Badger Dome.
Prescott came out and showed how dominating this team can be by scoring 31 first quarter points to lead by 29. The Badgers lead grew to 59-7 at the half, and 81-13 after three quarters. Three other players scored in double figures with Bella Abt scoring 11 of her 13 points in the first half. Bentlee Crockett had 12 and Kylee Murdock scored 11.

Bella Abt said, “I am really proud of us tonight because we really haven’t been together since some of us having been playing different sports. We jelled together and had a good game to start our season.”

The Badgers are coming off a (22-8) season after placing second in the Grand Canyon Region at (10-2), and with some key players back, have a good chance to go further in the Division 4 playoffs. Three of those losses were to Flagstaff, including the second round playoff loss to end their season. Abt added, “We have some great players back and that will be a big help in what we can do. I am just really excited for this season and see what kind of run we can make at state.”
Prescott (1-0) will host St. Mary’s on Monday December 1 at 7pm.
