Ballet Victoria’s Dracula Brings Seduction, Shadows, and Spine-Tingling Beauty to Prescott Oct. 31 & Nov. 1

This Halloween, surrender to the seductive and haunting world of Dracula when Ballet Victoria brings its acclaimed gothic ballet to the Jim & Linda Lee Performing Arts Center for two spellbinding performances: Friday, October 31 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, November 1 at 3 p.m.

With mesmerizing choreography, dramatic lighting, and a chillingly beautiful score, Ballet Victoria reimagines Bram Stoker’s legendary tale of love, loss, and immortality. Featuring over 50 original costumes, atmospheric staging, and an evocative musical score that blends classical masterpieces with modern arrangements, this production captures both the terror and the tragic romance of Dracula’s world.

Audiences are drawn into the gothic atmosphere as the Count’s lost love, Elisabetha, sets in motion a timeless story of passion and darkness. From Lucy’s ill-fated seduction to Mina’s struggle to resist Dracula’s power, the ballet unfolds in breathtaking scenes filled with elegance, drama, and supernatural allure.

Based in Victoria, British Columbia, Ballet Victoria has earned international acclaim for its innovative productions that blend classical ballet technique with contemporary storytelling. Under the artistic direction of Paul Destrooper, the company has become known for its bold and imaginative interpretations of timeless stories – and Dracula has quickly become one of its most popular and talked-about works.

Don’t miss your chance to experience the darkly beautiful world of Dracula this Halloween season – a performance where passion meets the supernatural and light ultimately triumphs over darkness.
