At the inaugural State of the County address, Yavapai County Board of Supervisors Chair Mary Mallory introduced the county’s Strategic Plan. The plan was officially adopted by the Board of Supervisors on September 17, 2025.

This comprehensive plan outlines five key priority areas:
•     Infrastructure
•     Water & Open Space
•     Public Safety
•     Housing & Regional Economic Development
•     Good Governance
Comprising a total of 11 strategic goals, the plan provides a clear roadmap for the county’s future. County staff are currently developing detailed implementation plans to ensure these goals are achieved within the timelines established by the Board.

  1. This program was an insult to the residents of Yavapai County. Charging what; $40- $50 per person? It was put on by 5 well paid county Supervisors and senior staff. I will assume a minimum of attendees were citizens; retired or blue collar working people.
I will help nominate and support a “new” supervisor for district 5. Too little working for the residents and too much caving in to the “good ole boys” that don’t have our best interests at heart.
