The final sanctioned tournament of this season was hosted by the Mile Hi Horseshoe Club and held at the Watson Lake Courts in Prescott. It was another perfect day to pitch horseshoes with temperatures starting off in the sixties with mid 70 temps by tournament end.
Trisha Lincoln swept Class A to win the overall tournament championship and doing it in impressive fashion. Trisha needed to rally in three different games, trailing by as many as five points with four shoes left to throw. She won all six games throwing 1.35 over average. Hal Handelman had a wild day of ups and downs, ultimately taking second place with a 3-3 record. Handelman beat John Lincoln down the stretch by one point to stay ahead of John who finished third.

Class B was won for the second straight week by Steve Harman who also swept with a 4-0 record. Harman was able to get past Joe Starika, who had the best day of any player tossing 3.81 above his average. The two players were 3-0 going into the their game that decided the class winner. Brian Belcher finished third.
Afterwards the players and those who came out to watch were treated to Dominos Pizza.
