We all make mistakes. As individuals or in groups, we make miscalculations, errors in judgments or perform actions based on false assumptions. The continued making the same error after the first time, becomes a choice, not a mistake. Any group or person who keeps making the same mistake, over and over again, either can’t face reality, lacks intellectual awareness, is self destructive or all three.
The question then arises, why do the Democrats keep doubling down on the wrong side of every issue? They do this despite the fact that the large majority of the public believes and wants the exact opposite? The answer, it would seem, is that it is a choice that is their only option. Their party is fractured and disjointed. The far leftists have grouped together and taken control of the Democrat message. The propaganda press keeps delivering that far left/socialist message to their dwindling audience.
There doesn’t seem to be any moderate Democrat with the appeal or charisma to grow the centrist part of the party. As a result, the whole party, from the top down, projects the image that is anti-American, pro illegal criminal immigrant, anti-ICE, anti-law enforcement, antisemitic, anti reason, logic and sanity. The Democrats don’t think they have a choice,
For some years now, their strategy has been to pander to different minority groups with legislation and policies that the Democrats think these groups want. They think that these minorities will be beholden to the Democrat party. All of their political maneuverings are now starting to backfire on them. Black voters are starting to realize that the Democrats care more about the money they get from the teachers unions than about the education of their children. If the Democrats really wanted minority kids to get a good education, they would be all for voucher programs that would enable low income students to go to successful schools instead of school in districts where kids graduate from high schools without the ability to read, write or do basic mathematics.
To continue their fight against the tide of public opinion, the Dems keep pushing transsexual issues. Against all chromosomal science, the leaders in the Democrat party and their friends in the evaporating propaganda press, push the policy of allowing biological men, who identity themselves as women, to compete in women’s sports. They defend the insanity of the chemical and/or anatomical mutilation of children. These children are in need of psychological assistance, not sexual body alterations.
More than any other issue, President Trump won the voters by promising to deport illegal aliens, starting with the criminals and crazies that Biden welcomed to our country. Contrary to all common sense, the “Dimocrats” keep supporting the sanctuary cities policies of forbidding their local law enforcement to cooperate with ICE agents. Not only that, the Democrat leaders are vilifying ICE agents as Gestapo, Nazis and kidnappers. By so doing they are promoting attacks on ICE agents and other law enforcers, Federal, state or local. This is just more of the same decades long efforts to “victimize” the crooks and present the cops as the bad guys. The people aren’t buying this anymore.
When ICE raids workplaces, where they have intelligence that criminal illegal aliens are working, these bleeding heart leftists complain that the majority of those taken into custody are not criminals. Reasoning, not being the Democrats’ long suit, they can’t figure out that if the local policing agencies were allowed to hold criminal aliens while they are in local jails, ICE wouldn’t find other illegal aliens. But if they find them at these work places, and they are here illegally, ICE is required to take them into custody in most instances.
If the Democrats keep lining up on the wrong side of policies and ideas that 70% of the voters favor, how do they expect to do anything but lose seats in the House and Senate in 2026 or in the general election in 2028?
