PRESCOTT WEATHER

Patriots of Prescott Rock the Square! – Gary Bowers

[Publisher’s Note: Last month Prescott eNews was approached by a group of local patriots planning to celebrate Flag Day, June 14th, and the 250th Anniversary of the US Army with festivities on the Courthouse Square. By happy coincidence, June 14th was also the 79th birthday of President Trump.   We decided to donate a banner promoting this free, public spirited event. On Saturday, we published a tribute to these wonderful anniversaries and mentioned the festivities planned for downtown Prescott.

Over the weekend we received the following update from one of the sponsors of the event, Gary Bowers, a local patriot and civic activist. He reports the event went “flawlessly” with hundreds of local patriots and their families in attendance. The pictures suggest a good time was had by all. – David Stringer, Publisher]

A peaceful, patriotic event!

A small group of patriots who just wanted to honor Flag Day, the birthdays of the Army and President Trump gathered on the Prescott Courthouse Square Saturday, June 14th for a couple of hours and ROCKED THE SQUARE!!

Self-funded with no outside support from any political organization, club or group, the Patriots of Prescott presented music, “bling,” giveaways and cupcakes for all.  President Trump was there (in cardboard) and the line was long for those who wanted a picture with our favorite president.

In spite of social media warnings to “Don’t Go,” the event went off flawlessly and peacefully with upwards of 400 to 500 people coming and going and having a great time.  Smiles were evident everywhere as we rocked to the patriotic music of Patrick Leeper, Brian and Bruce Mounsey all led by our great Master of Ceremonies CJ Wallace.

Our goal was simple; no political agenda, honor Flag Day, the 250th birthday of the United States Army and the birthday of our favorite President, Donald J. Trump.  No political candidates or speeches were made, just a few patriots speaking from the heart about Old Glory, the Army and President Trump.  It was a beautiful day with plenty of shade where people set up chairs or blankets to sit, watch and enjoy.

  1. This is just beautiful. Prescott can do this because of who we are. Contrast our love of country with the discord and violence in LA and other cesspools of anti-Americanism. We are the real America!

    1. DITTO on your post, Ken. I am frankly fed up with having to feel like I should disappear just to please the Socialists and “get along.” We may not be in a war yet, such as we did in the 1940s with Japan and Germany, because the
current “war” is right here in the U.S., and we need many more true Patriots to support our Military and those of us who remember when we were truly free and when freedom of thought and speech were respected. Sadly, the Far Left media have poisoned too many minds, while not nearly enough real Americans have the courage to
recognize and speak out against the America-haters whose goal is to tear down our country and the Constitution because they are too afraid to be “unpopular.” These are the people who are being grabbed by the throat by the Democrat Party. SHAME on them!

    2. Thank you Prescott ENews for reporting without bias. The ONLY conservative news outlet in Prescott.

  2. Outstanding! Great group of patriots who care and show it. Thanks for all the great reporting.

Go Trump! Go MAGA! America First! And thank you eNews for giving us this bright, positive story when there is so much darkness out there.

  4. It’s AMAZING that all this was done by regular citizens and volunteers. Where on earth were the Yavapai Republican groups? Where was RWOP? Thank goodness we still have real American Patriots in this town willing to step up. FANTASTIC!

  5. It blows my mind that the Republican Party and groups in Yavapai did not put this on. I talked to several people and they were only about a dozen that used their own money and the speakers and musicians were all volunteer. But that’s how it’s done in real America.
