This Year’s A Team: The Trump Cabinet – Buz Blog

For those that don’t remember, The A Team was a TV show in the 1980s that starred George Peppard and Mr. T. They were a mercenary team that was for hire, but only by the good guys. They did things that others couldn’t or wouldn’t do. The A Team accomplished things that others thought were impossible.

When you fast forward to 2025, you can see a parallel between the A Team and President Trump’s cabinet. The President has brought together a group of people in his cabinet that share his views. They are hard chargers who are aggressively pushing his agenda. From the Secretary of Agriculture to the Secretary of Veteran Affairs, the men and women Trump has named to fill his cabinet are all working as a team to make America great again.

At the Environmental Protection Agency, Secretary Lee Zeldin, working in conjunction with the Department of Government Efficiency, has saved taxpayers more than $2 billion. They did this by canceling more than 400 contracts for grants that the Biden Administration had dished out that were related to DEI, “environmental justice” and other spurious money laundering schemes.

The US Attorney General, Pam Bondi, has returned common sense to the Department of Justice. Since taking office, she has suspended all federal funding to sanctuary cities. Bondi has tasked the Department of Justice with finding and assessing non-governmental organizations that give support to illegal aliens. DOJ has also been ordered to look into sanctuary jurisdictions that may be obstructing law enforcement and directing that “they be prosecuted when necessary.” Secretary Bondi is also working with Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, Department of the Interior Doug Burgum, and FBI Director Kash Patel, to identify, arrest and prosecute or deport criminal illegal aliens.

Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth is eliminating DEI and so-called social justice training from all of our military branches and redirecting that training to making our armed forces the strongest, most effective in the world. As a result of his leadership, recruiting for our military is at an all time high. Secretary Hegseth is working with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and CIA Director John Ratcliffe to identify global hot spots and potential problem areas. By working together, they are developing strategies to address aggression by our foes and bring about peace through strength by creating an unbeatable, lethal military.

Secretary of the Treasury Scott Bessent, is working with Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer, and Russell Vought, the Director of the Office of Budget and Management, to balance our budget, negotiate fair trade deals and tariffs. They are also bringing new companies to America and other companies back from overseas. They are doing this by lowering corporate taxes and by not having tariffs on goods produced in our country. These Trump officials want to do this so that we manufacture products and pharmaceuticals that we now have to buy from foreign sources.

Another member of the Trump Cabinet, Secretary of Energy, Chris Wright, working in conjunction with the President and other cabinet members, will make America energy independent once again. He will do this by using all forms of energy from renewables like wind, solar, hydro and geothermal, to clean coal, natural gas and nuclear. He will remove Biden era restrictions on gas stoves and heaters and future regulations on gas powered cars.

Kelly Leoffler, Administrator of the Small Business Administration, will put the emphasis back on small businesses that employ the vast majority of our nations non-government workers.

Secretary of Education, Linda McMahon will help stop money going to the Universities that allow the antisemitic harassment of Jews, illegal race based admissions and hiring, and other DEI practices. Ultimately, her job is to eliminate the Department of Education and send its duties back to the individual states, where it belongs.

Secretary of Veteran Affairs Doug Collins is assigned to correct the many flaws in the VA system, pare away the duplicate or useless departments and to give our veterans the services they deserve.

Scott Turner is the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). His job is to make HUD more streamlined, cost effective and to do away with burdensome federal rules for local jurisdictions.

Lori Chavez-DeRemer is Secretary of Labor. She is considered pro labor and she will, no doubt, increase the GOP’s popularity with union workers when President Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” passes Congress and is signed into law. All working men and women who get tips and/or overtime will benefit from not having to pay taxes on that extra income.

Anyone whose read any of the books or other writings of Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. will know how extensive his research and knowledge are on these subjects. He will undoubtedly Make America Healthy Again. He will investigate the use and utility of vaccines, get rid of harmful additives in our food, and determine the cause in the rise of diabetes, autism and other health issues.

Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy has the less than enviousness chore of repairing and making more effective our transportation by air, land and sea.

Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins has the onerous tasks of working with other cabinet members to ensure that our farmers are getting a just deal with other countries when exporting their produce. She will also be looking into the reason China is buying up so much of our agricultural land and why other countries are doing the same and wasting so much of our water.

Elon Musk and the group of experts he has assembled, has already saved our nation hundreds of billions of dollars. They will go through every federal bureaucracy and will obviously save us hundreds of billions, if not trillions more.

These Trump Cabinet members have been put in place to implement President Trump’s plan to Make America Great Again. By working together, by resolving conflicts between themselves, God willing, they will succeed.

Considering that this is the holiest of time for the two great religions that are the foundation of Western Civilization, we need to celebrate Easter and Passover.
