District 2
The Yavapai County Board of Supervisors received five letters of interest to fill the vacancy of the Yavapai County District 2 Supervisor. The following individuals submitted Letters of Interest by the deadline and met the statutory qualifications.
- Wiley J. Cline
- John Hughes
- Denise Jenkins
- Thomas Thurman
- Anthony ‘Tony’ James Utz
The Yavapai County Board of Supervisors will review and possibly appoint one of these individuals at a regular Board of Supervisors meeting on April 16, 2025, at 9:00 A.M. at the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors meeting room located at 10 South 6th Street, Cottonwood, AZ 86326.
The public is encouraged to comment on candidates via email at: clerkoftheboard.web@yavapaiaz.
Comments will be accepted until 5:00 P.M. on March 28, 2025.

Tom Thurman was a popular, knowledgeable and responsive Supervisor. His time on the board allowed him to become familiar with the District and he was quick to be of assistance to the residents of District 2. I heartily endorse Tom Thurman to be appointed to the vacancy on our Board of Supervisors.
