Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority (CAFMA) Firefighters Swiftly Extinguish Prescott Valley House Fire

On Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at approximately 2:32 p.m., firefighters from the Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority (CAFMA) responded to a structure fire near Florentine Road and Constance Drive in Prescott Valley, Arizona.

Initial reports indicated the fire started in a bathroom inside the residence. All occupants safely evacuated before emergency crews arrived. Firefighters swiftly extinguished the flames and conducted a thorough inspection to ensure the fire had not spread to other areas.

The Arizona Crisis Team (ACT) was called to the scene to assist the residents. Fortunately, no injuries were reported among community members or emergency personnel. The fire is currently under investigation, with fire investigators on scene working to determine its cause and origin.

CAFMA extends its appreciation to its public safety and community partners, including APS, Arizona Crisis Team (ACT), Prescott Regional Communications Center, Prescott Valley Police Department, Priority Ambulance, the Town of Prescott Valley Building Department, and Unisource Energy Services for their support and assistance.

CAFMA also reminds community members to stay alert, slow down, and safely move over when approaching emergency vehicles stopped on the roadside. Your attentiveness helps protect first responders and their partners as they work to keep our community safe.
