The local chapter of Yavapai County’s Conservatives for a Constitutional Republic (ConCR) has announced that Representative Quang Nguyen (LD1- R), will speak at their upcoming meeting this Saturday, February 22nd, in Chino Valley. The meeting is free and open to the public but seating is limited. Those wishing to attend are asked to RSVP.
Rep. Nguyen was first elected as one of LD1’s two state legislators in 2020. With the opening of Arizona’s 57th Legislative Session in January, he was sworn into his third term. The popular conservative legislator serves as Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee and is a member of the House Appropriations Committee. He describes himself as a fiscal conservative and has a legislative record as a stalwart defender of the Second Amendment rights and a champion of the Right to Life.
Rep Nguyen recently gained national attention for his proposal to eliminate the legislative immunity provisions from the Arizona Constitution. He has also been at the forefront of legislation seeking to toughen state laws involving fentanyl distribution, border security and sex trafficking. In his last term, Rep. Nguyen along with his LD1 colleague Rep. Selina Bliss, successfully challenged the City of Phoenix’s effort to donate confiscated guns to the Ukraine war effort. Rep Nguyen is expected to discuss his legislative priorities for the upcoming session and provide an update on legislation impacting LD1.
The Yavapai Chapter of Conservatives for a Constitutional Republic is a group of conservative activists dedicated to defending and promoting the values of representative government as set forth in the United States Constitution. They are a private organization and not directly affiliated with any political party. However, most members are registered Republicans or conservative leaning independents who are civically engaged or are current or former elected officials or candidates for office.
ConCR meets monthly at the Bible Baptist Church, 3490 N State Road 89, in Chino Valley. Recent speakers include Rep. Selina Bliss, Cong. Eli Crane, Sheriff David Rhodes, and many other prominent conservative figures and candidates for office.
ConCR is a membership organization. However, in the interest of informing voters about important issues and candidates, the appearances of guest speakers of high public interest are open to the public. All those wishing to meet Rep. Nguyen are cordially invited to attend. If time permits, Rep Nguyen will stand for questions.
Doors open at 10:45 AM. The meeting will begin promptly at 11:15 AM. RSVP’s are requested and should be addressed to concr2018@gmail.com.

Politics. Everyone has an opinion on what is and what should be. For those who have a Christian view of America and true American history good and bad we know how America has corrected the bad even at a great cost of lives. From 1620 the Pilgrims practiced Faith and farming and agricultural capitalism led them to stand against the massive British Empire in 1776; 156 years later. The creation of our constitutional republic in the Summer of 1787 created a limited federal government with protections added by most states called the Bill of Rights or the first 10 amendments added to the constitution in it first official act.
The 238 years since have seen America become the most successful country in the world as a free people and a restrained elected representative government challenged the worlds problems with a resolve created by a free people that was also strong.
Join us once a month for ConCR on Hwy 89 North of Chino Valley on left. Look for the American Flag at the Bible Baptist Church 10:30 Saturday the 22nd.
