Dr. Lyle Rapacki, host of Yavapai Speaks, talks to Phil Goode about what he has accomplished in his time as Mayor of Prescott, Arizona. The Mayor mentions the passage of Proposition 478 in the last election, and that the money raised by that sales tax will allow the city to build two new fire stations, a new police evidence facility, and to recruit more police and fire personnel. This will allow for faster response times.
Mayor Goode also discusses the new positions they have filled such as a new City Manager, a Director of the Airport, and other positions.
Some of the other issues he brings up are water management, and the issues around Prescott Regional Airport.
