At approximately 4:29 p.m. on Sunday, February 2, 2025, firefighters from the Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority (CAFMA) and the Prescott Fire Department responded to a mobile home fire near Cattletrack Road and Spanish Moss Lane in Prescott Valley, Arizona.
Crews quickly contained the fire, limiting its spread and minimizing damage. Firefighters safely rescued two cats from the home and provided treatment to the animals on the scene.
Fortunately, the structure was unoccupied at the time of the fire, and no injuries to emergency personnel were reported. A neighbor who attempted to enter the home was checked out by medical crews but declined transport.
The American Red Cross of Arizona is assisting the displaced residents. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
CAFMA extends its gratitude to assisting agencies, including the Arizona Crisis Team (ACT), APS, Prescott Fire Department, Prescott Regional Communications Center, Prescott Valley Police Department, Priority Ambulance, the Red Cross of Arizona, the Town of Prescott Valley Building Department, and UniSource, for their support in managing the incident.
