Fruit cocktail trees are trending as the must-have plant for 2025 gardens. These innovative trees offer a variety of fruits on one tree, making them perfect for small spaces and gardeners who want to grow various fruits.
“Cocktail fruit trees are a great way to get the most out of your garden,” said Chris Arthur, fruit tree manager at Watters Garden Center. “They are also a great way to try exciting new fruits.”
New Cocktail tree varieties for 2025:
- Apple trees with three varieties featuring Gala, Honey Chrisp and Fuji varieties
- Pear trees with four varieties featuring Barlett, Comice, D’Anjou & Red D’Anjou
- Plum trees with three varieties featuring Santa Rosa, Burgundy & Satsuma
- Cherry trees with four varieties featuring Rainier, Stella & Montmorency pie cherry
Cocktail fruits are low-maintenance and yield a bountiful harvest. They also add beauty to any garden. Various fruits are grafted onto the trunk of a mother fruit tree and nurtured up to 10 years to integrate with the mother tree. They are mature enough to produce fruit this spring in local gardens.
“We are proud to offer these unique and innovative trees to local gardeners,” said Arthur. “They are becoming Watters most popular addition to gardens across Yavapai county.”
