It was a little earlier start, (8 am), for the MI Windows Tournament held at Watson Lake. The event was hosted by the Mile Hi Horseshoe Club.
Emmett Jones won Class B, with four of his five wins by double digits. There was one very tight game when Jones and Steve Harman went back and forth till Jones hit a pair of ringers near the end resulting in a four point win. Class B favorite, Hal Handelman had some slow starts but rebounded nicely to take second place.
Brian Belcher also had some slow starts but was able to work his way into third place.

Larry Workman (4-1), one of four players from Henderson, Nevada, beat out Robert Chubinsky (3.5-1.5) for first place, with Trisha Lincoln taking third. Lincoln was the only player to beat Workman, as he went (3-2). Chubinsky scored the most points in the tournament with 216. Trisha Lincoln led in ringers with 127.
The next tournament in Prescott will be on August 31 at 9 am. Prescott Valley will host their next tournament on Saturday at American Legion Park on Bob Drive at 8 am.
