Game One
The Prescott Badgers took a nice road trip over to Mohave Valley and are coming home with a four game sweep in the Route 66 Baseball Classic Tournament held at River Valley High School. Games were also played at Needles High School just on the other side of the Colorado River, in California
The Badgers opened up the first day with a 14-2 beating of the Kingman Bulldogs.
Prescott came out swinging with four runs in the top of the first. Then in the third blew the doors off with ten runs in the third for a 14-0 lead.
Adrian Sanderford came out and threw three perfect innings while striking out four for the Badgers. Josh Adler pitched the final two innings.
Prescott pounded out 16 hits and played stellar defense in the field.
Nine different Badgers had hits and scored in the game. Brendan Costes had three hits and three RBIs. Colton Champion also had three hits and a pair of RBIs. Cooper Magnett, Luke Tobin, and Adrian Sanderford each had two hits with Tobin and Magnett with a pair of RBIs. Freshman Nick Martin singled in a pair as well.
Kingman drops to (2-6), while the Badgers go to (4-2).

Game Two
The second game of day one saw the Badgers handle Pahrump Valley Trojans from Nevada 12-3.
Prescott jumped on top with three runs in the top of the first. The Trojans scored a pair in the bottom of the second to make the score 3-2. The Badgers added one in the third and blew the game open with eight in the fourth to lead 12-2. Pahrump Valley got one back, but the score stayed the same for the final three innings.
Luke Tobin scored three times and had three hits, including a double. Cooper Magnett had two hits and three RBIs. Andrew Lyon and Jack Burton had a pair of RBIs each.
Tristan McKown went six innings giving up just three runs on three hits. Kaden Lampe closed things out striking out two of the three batters he faced.
The Trojans fall to (4-6), and Prescott improves to (5-2).

Game Three
On Saturday, the Badgers had their toughest battle but still won a 7-5 contest over the River Valley Dust Devils.
Parker Reed tossed four innings to pick up the win, followed by Matt Hepperle, and Travis Gates, who came in to close things out.
Nick Martin two hits and an RBI. Colton Champion, Jack Burton, and Reed each had a double and an RBI. The game was called after six innings due to a time limit.
The Badgers are now (6-2), while River Valley falls to (5-4).

Game Four
The Badgers came up with only two hits but were quite happy with the six walks in a tough 4-0 win over the Palo Verde Valley Panthers.
Brenden Costes singled and had three RBIs, while the pitcher William Horn had the other single. Jacob Patterson picked up an RBI on a walk. Adrian Sanderford walked all three times he went up to bat and scored twice.
Horn started on the mound, giving up just two hits in 5.1 innings while striking out seven. Josh Adler got the final two outs to close things out.
It was the final game and the Badgers came back home with a (7-2) record.
