Priceless Prom Pop-Up Boutique Outfits Teens with Free Prom Attire

Catholic Charities’ North Star Youth Partnership, in collaboration with Tri-City College Prep, brings back the Priceless Prom Project to Prescott this spring. Just in time for prom season, from March 25 to April 4, a pop-up boutique will be set-up inside Pine Ridge Marketplace (formerly Prescott Gateway Mall). Area teens will be able to shop, free of charge, from a large selection of formal attire.

During Priceless Prom, the clothing will be available to any local high school students on a first come, first-serve basis. The new or like new items have been donated by generous businesses and individuals in the community to ease the financial burden of attending prom. In addition to assisting families with the expense of this memory-making event, the project serves as a beneficial pay-it-forward recycling program. At Priceless Prom, there is a wide variety of clothing for teen shoppers, including special occasion dresses, purses, jewelry, tuxedos, suits, shoes, and more. North Star Youth Partnership continues to accept gift card donations from floral shops and beauty salons to be raffled for the teens.

Event Days and Hours:

Monday, March 25: 4 to 6 p.m.
Tuesday, March 26: 4 to 6 p.m.
Wednesday, March 27: 4 to 6 p.m.
Thursday, March 28: 4 to 6 p.m.
Friday, March 29: 4 to 6 p.m.
Saturday, March 30: Noon to 3 p.m.
Tuesday, April 2: 4 to 6 p.m.
Thursday, April 4: 4 to 6 p.m.“For the past 10 years, Tri-City College Prep has partnered with North Star Youth Partnership to bring Priceless Prom to Tri-City area schools. Students volunteer their time to facilitate the set-up and tear-down of the pop-up store. They look forward to the event every year, as it gives them the opportunity to help their peers be fashion ready for their fabulous prom,” said Anne Stoxen, Academic Counselor for Tri-City College Prep.

According to Nikki Semprun, Teens’ Closet Coordinator for Catholic Charities’ North Star Youth Partnership, “We are so grateful for the community support. Without the help of the students and staff at Tri-City College Prep and the generosity of Pine Ridge Marketplace for donating the retail space, this important event wouldn’t be possible.”

Priceless Prom will be held at Pine Ridge Marketplace, 3250 Gateway Blvd., Prescott, west of the food court. The mall location is easily accessible for Quad City students and has abundant parking. Walk-ins are welcome, as pre-registration for the event is not required. Any high school student wishing to attend can simply stop by during event hours.
