On December 21, 2023, at around 7:54 in the morning the Prescott Police Department responded to a three-car collision on State Route 89 near mile post 317, located within the Dells area. Upon arrival it was determined that a 76-year-old Prescott resident drove his 2003 GMC truck into the back of a second vehicle which caused that vehicle to collide with the back of a third vehicle.
