Rep. Eli Crane: Admin Should Boost U.S. Energy, Not Continue to Hand Our Adversaries a Win

Following a tour of American energy producers in Montana hosted by Rep. Matt Rosendale (R-MT)Rep. Eli Crane (R-AZ) issued this statement:

“This Energy Tour, led by Rep. Matt Rosendale, underscored the crucial role our domestic energy producers play and the need to champion American energy.

“Today, we’re witnessing the Biden Administration wage a war on American energy, keeping much of it imprisoned underground to the advantage of our adversaries. This assault on domestic producers severely dims our economic outlook, destroys jobs here at home, and creates a vulnerability in our national security.

“Our federal government should be advancing American energy interests, not aiding and abetting our adversaries by handing them a win. Our dependence on foreign energy is a disgraceful indicator of this Administration’s sabotage of America’s security and prosperity.

“I’m grateful to the energy producers that Reps. Rosendale, Biggs, and I met with over the last three days who demonstrated the success of American energy and showcased the benefits of energy independence. Every member of the Biden Admin should see, firsthand, what they actively undermine each and every day by continuing to sabotage our energy producers.”

  1. Eli Crane is a clear voice or reason in Washington, District of Columbia. The issue of carbon based fossil fuels being harmful is laughable. There is barely enough CO2 in our atmosphere (4/10 of one percent) to keep all plant matter living and producing the Oxygen we need. And fossil fuel affects the cost of virtually all products and services we use on a daily basis; thus the high inflation rate. The $2.19 a gallon gas under President Trump is one reminder of the faux war on energy under the Biden-Obama administration.
