The recent addition of Ann Coulter’s weekly column to our line-up of conservative opinion marks a new high water mark for Prescott eNews. Ann Coulter is a public intellectual and media personality of the first rank. In addition to her weekly syndicated column that appears in conservative news sites such as Breitbart, Daily Caller, VDare, and many others, she is the author of thirteen New York Times bestsellers including such well known titles as Adios, America (2016) , and Resistance is Futile (2018). She also enjoys a national reputation as a TV and radio personality and as a sought after speaker on the lecture circuit.
Many Prescott locals will remember her 2011 sold out appearance at the Yavapai Performance Hall. Her warnings about the deep state, cancel culture and the dishonesty of the mainstream media proved to be prophetic. Along with Pat Buchanan, Sam Francis and Peter Brimelow, she was among the first to sound the alarm not only about illegal immigration but how America’s overly generous legal immigration policies are transforming the country.
Two pillars of eNew’s conservative columnists are no longer writing. Pat Buchanan, now in his mid 80’s, stopped publishing his twice weekly column late last year. Michele Malkin wrote her last column in February. A few months ago, when Dilbert cartoonist Scott Adams, was savaged in the media for an allegedly racially-tinged statement, eNews reached out to his syndicator to see if we might be able to acquire publication rights. We couldn’t. It was sudden death for Dilbert. Within hours, Scott Adams and his career as a cartoonist had fallen into the Black Hole of cancel culture.
But we learned that Ann Coulter is represented by the same syndicate and was available. This month we have made her the newest star in our already distinguished constellation of conservative columnists.
In Prescott eNews, every day of the week, our readers will find top rated conservative writers expressing the full gamut of conservative views ranging from Libertarians John Stossel, and Josh Hammer, opinion editor at Newsweek, to Neo-conservatives Ben Shapiro, Stephen Moore, and Rick Lowery, editor of the National Review, to more traditional conservatives such as David Harsanyi, senior editor at the Federalist and Michael Barone, from the Washington Times. With the addition of Ann Coulter, Prescott eNews now carries more top notch, nationally syndicated conservative commentary than any publication in Northern Arizona.
This month marks three years since your Publisher took over full ownership of Prescott eNews. We have come a long way. Readership now averages over three thousand a day. Higher on weekends. We post a minimum of ten original stories per day, seven days a week. Our website and social media sites remain free to access by readers twenty four hours a day regardless of location. Our Associated Press subscription allows us to post top national stories along with local stories ranging from sports to civic affairs from a variety of sources including Cronkite News, local city and county governments, school districts, community organizations and fire and police departments across the county. We produce our own videos in our downtown Prescott studio with popular local hosts including Brooks Compton, Pam Pearsall, David McNabb, and Jim Arroyo. All of this content is free to our readers simply by accessing our website.
All we ask from our readers is their openness to new ideas and an honest presentation of the news of the day. Please join us in welcoming Ann Coulter to our line up of conservative commentary.
