On Friday, January 6, 2023, at approximately 4:00 P.M. Prescott Police Detective Dillenbeck was involved in a minor, non-injury two vehicle collision at the intersection of State Route 89 and Prescott Lakes Parkway. Initial responding officers on scene made an observation of possible impairment with Detective Dillenbeck and requested a supervisor respond to the scene. As a result of the on-scene investigators observations, it was determined to have Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office respond to investigate the collision as well as the possibility of impaired driving.
As a result of the investigation, Detective Dillenbeck was arrested on scene and eventually cited and released for several counts of impaired driving. It should be noted that Detective Dillenbeck was driving an unmarked police vehicle at the time of the collision.
Detective Dillenbeck has been placed on Administrative Leave, pending the outcome of an administrative investigation.
Chief Amy Bonney states, “Prescott Police Department is committed to ensuring the fair application of law for all, and we hold ourselves accountable to those same standards when any employee is involved. I am grateful for the service of our partners, the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office who readily handled the investigation per my request as an independent and outside entity. We are committed to transparency and will always strive to maintain the trust of our community.”

If a drunk-a$$ driver hits your car and injures or kills you, does it hurt any more or less if it’s a newly-licensed teenager or an illegal alien? I think it hurts the most when it’s a COP, whether on duty or OFF…
It happens all the time out here, hiding in plain sight. From the Sheriff getting a slap on the wrist for a boat DUI, to a deputy killing a pedestrian woman while driving throuh Yarnell (still “under investigation”), to the old Yarnell fire chief’s dark past; killing a child, covering it up, then getting convicted with a mere slap on the wrist, then becoming a Chief. It all gets swept under the carpet, or at least as much as possible. Yet, when one of them is wronged, all hell breaks lose, and the propaganda overflows. This is the Jerkwater mafia.
