Yavapai CASA For Kids distributes Holiday Gifts to Kinship/ Foster Families December 19-20

All Kinship and Foster placements in the area are invited to attend the Yavapai CASA for Kids Foundation’s annual Christmas Holidays Gift Distribution on December 19th and 20th to select gifts for foster youth in their care.

Distribution is at Prevent Child Abuse Arizona, located at 3289 Bob Drive in Prescott Valley. The times are as follows: Monday, December 19th from 9 AM to 5 PM and Tuesday, December 20th from 9 AM to 2 PM. In order to choose gifts, you must provide the name of your Yavapai County DCS caseworker from the Prescott/Prescott Valley offices. If the case of the foster youth in your care originated in another county but the youth resides in Yavapai County, please bring and present your Notice to the Provider to collect gifts.

“Thanks to the generosity of our community, we have truckloads of gifts to hand out,” said Mona Stephens, Development Director of Yavapai CASA for Kids Foundation. “There are gifts for all ages, including teens!”

With over 300 foster youth living in the area, Yavapai CASA for Kids believes that every child deserves a bright holiday. The foundation is asking for the community’s help in sharing the information. If you know of any foster or kinship families, please, share the dates and times of the Christmas Holidays Gift Distribution.

“For some children, it’s their first time being away from home during the holidays. They deserve a positive experience, a happy holiday; and we are passionate about making that happen for them,” states Missy Sikora, board member and Christmas Drive chair of the Yavapai CASA for Kids Foundation.

For more information about the Christmas Holidays Gift Distribution or to become involved, email info@YavapaiCASAforKids.org with “Xmas” in the subject line or call (928) 445-0800.
