Large Animal Shelters and Emergency Readiness – LASER – is a 501(c)3 nonprofit working with Yavapai County Emergency Management to provide shelter for your barn animals during evacuations at no cost to you.
We accept:
- horses (mares, geldings, stallions)
- miniature horses/Ponies
- mules/Donkeys
- goats
- sheep
- chickens
- pigs
- rabbits
- and llamas/alpacas
November 29 th is Giving Tuesday, a day when the whole world comes together to give back through acts of kindness and gifts of time, talent or treasure. Consider donating some of your time to LASER as a volunteer. With different levels of involvement available, you can choose how to help your community be prepared for disasters.
