Sadly, suicide rates go up around the holiday season. Suicide is preventable and anyone can make a difference. MATFORCE has partnered with Yavapai College to bring safeTALK to the community.
Studies show that participants of safeTALK gain confidence in asking people about suicide directly, connecting them to life-saving resources, and keeping them safe until those resources take over. This program is widely used among professionals and the general public. Attendees will learn suicide alertness skills, the four basic steps to create a life-saving connection, and receive a safeTALK Participant Resource Kit.
Learn how to make a connection and help save a life at this half-day training held on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, from 8:30am to 12:00pm at Yavapai College’s Prescott Valley Campus, Room 106 – 3800 N. Glassford Hill Rd, Prescott Valley.
Register today for this free training! Email info@matforceaz.org or call (928) 708-0100 to reserve your spot. Visit matforce.org for more information.
