“They are a rising star in the Americana and mountain music world.” – Ear to the Ground
From Tucson, RISO’s sweet vocals and dynamic instrumentals serve as a striking counterpart to gritty, beautifully honest, and captivating original songs. The last decade has seen Matt and Rebekah Rolland on the road with the nationally acclaimed Americana band, Run Boy Run, participating as artists-in-residence for the National Parks Centennial, and collaborating on six studio albums. Their new album “New Eyes” is available on all digital platforms and CD. Their 2018 album Seed & Silo, was dubbed “a slice of folk perfection” by Americana UK and placed in the top three of Pop Matters’ Best Folk Albums of the Year.
