Prescott Western Heritage Foundation’s 9th Annual Western Banquet on November 5, 2022

This year, the Prescott Western Heritage Foundation, Inc., celebrates Prescott’s heritage with our 9th Annual Western Banquet on Saturday, November 5th, 2022 at the beautiful Prescott Resort and Conference Center. Banquet details are available at the Western Heritage Center at 156 C Montezuma and on our website, www.visitWHC.org

Our mission is to “Preserve and promote the Prescott area’s western heritage through education, art, music, events, and projects that enhance its western lifestyle, making Prescott and Yavapai County unique and desirable places to live & visit.”

The Foundation’s primary goal for this event is to raise awareness in the community regarding our western heritage and the organizations and individuals who strive to preserve, promote, and educate residents and visitors about western history. It is also an opportunity to celebrate the spirit of cooperation and of accomplishment by working with the communities in Yavapai County.

Each year the Foundation’s Board of Directors will recognize members of the community who have made significant contributions to the preservation and/or promotion of one or more segments of our western heritage. In addition, we recognize and award “Western Heritage Keeper” Scholarships to deserving students. Please see our website for more information:

On May 16, 2019 our Foundation opened the doors to our new Western Heritage Center at 156 C Montezuma Street (historic Whiskey Row) with an extremely successful Ribbon Cutting ceremony organized by the Prescott Chamber of Commerce. Unfortunately, the Center was closed six months of 2020 and two months in 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We were thrilled to reopen in March of last year as our wonderful volunteers returned. The Center has experienced great support from the community, and we plan to use funds raised at our banquet to help sustain the Center’s operation.

Our Foundation believes that everyone should have access to our educational experience focusing on the history and heritage of Yavapai County, so we do not charge admission. In addition, we do not charge the museums and other organizations for the highly prized floorspace on historic Whiskey Row. Please help sustain this gem in downtown Prescott by bidding on live auction items, silent auction items, or by just attending the banquet.

Please keep in mind that if you decide to attend, you only need to fill out the RSVP, and send it along with your check to Prescott Western Heritage Foundation, P.O. Box 773, Prescott, AZ 86302. You can also turn in your RSVP at the Western Heritage Center and pay by credit card if you prefer.
