Badminton
The streak continues as the Badgers improved to (4-0) on the young season, with a 9-0 sweep over the Shadow Mountain Matadors, at Prescott High School yesterday afternoon.
It was the first region match for the Badgers (1-0), and they passed, completely dominating the visiting Matadors. Shadow Mountain falls to (2-2) in the Division II Northwest Region, and (3-2) overall.
Prescott will be back on the court at Agua Fria on Tuesday at 4pm.
The Badgers won’t return home till September 23, when they face a tough Horizon Huskies team at 4pm.

Volleyball
The Badgers lost a tightly contested battle 3-1 at Coconino last night. All four games were close, but Prescott just could not come up with the big plays down the stretch, losing three games by a total of 11 points
Lexi Wasill led the Badgers with 8 kills and 7 service aces. Millie Diener (6 kills) and Payton Johnson (4 kills) were also big contributors. Ella Bleu Edwards kept the team focused and advanced the offense with 23 assists.
The loss drops the Badgers to (0-2) in the Grand Canyon Region and (1-3) overall. Coconino improves to (1-1) and (1-2) overall. Prescott will host Mohave on Wednesday at 6pm.
